Labeling with Seed Paper

Paper will bloom when planted!

I Dig Crystals now prints on Lotka Seed Paper! This is a handmade paper created from the inner bark of the Daphne bush, which grows high in the mountains of Nepal. After harvesting, the bark regenerates, so no forestation is destroyed. The cane like stick, once its bark is removed, is dried and used to heat the villager's homes, to provide fuel for cooking and also for the production of the paper. All of the water used in the paper production is reclaimed and reused. The bark is beaten by hand and boiled to break it down to a pulp and poured into screens to form the sheets. The sheets are dried in the sun, making the whole process environmentally sound and acid free. Each sheet is also embedded with tiny seeds including 15 annual species which tolerate partial shade, need 4 hours/day of direct sunlight and grow to about 3 feet (seeds include: red corn poppy, corn poppy, spurred snapdragon, catchfly, english daisy, showy evening primrose, gold yarrow, roman chamomile, tussock bellflower, foxglove, fringed sagewort, white yarrow, red yarrow, monkeyflower and creeping thyme.

What I love is that I can use this paper just like regular printing paper, through my inkjet printer! Each I Dig Crystals creation includes a seeded label with the vital information - Title, Chakra, Materials - and once committed to memory, the label can be recycled, composted or even planted!

Blocked Chakras = Depression

I once performed a crystal healing session on a friend who was in depression mode. It wasn't surprising that her chakras were fully blocked, but I was still taken aback when the pendulum that I was using to measure the chakra flows was at a standstill at each of the major chakra energy points. This means that there is no energy coming in or going out. There is no energy flowing within the aura as the chakras are not being energized by the life force. Whether there has been a gradual shut down or a sudden, it is up to the depressed individual to make that decision to heal. Luckily, my friend who I did a crystal healing on in her depressed state did find the motivation she needed within the healing realm and is today a great healer herself, with the ability to empathize with others who are in a situation she has overcome. -Sheila Satin

ANSWER: Hi, thanks for your email! I just got back from Spain, so I apologize for the delay!For overall chakra balance, we use clear Quartz crystals. Crystals vibrate a subtle energy that allow you to balance your chakras that are out of line. When we do general chakra crystal healing, we use clear Quartz because of its general purpose and enhancing energies. However, if you wan to be more specific, of course, there are many crystals that correspond to each particular chakra~

You may also consider a Quartz chakra wand (like pictured) or a Chakra Plate!

how to use selenite wands

Question: Could you give me some pointers about working with this aura wand? It is beautiful!

Answer:Thanks for your question! Here are some ways to use the selenite wand:

• Have someone scan your aura for you. Sweep the Selenite wand about 6" away from your physical body, up and down, front and back at least 3 times. This will seal your aura and protect you from any negativity that tries to get in.


• Hold it in your hands during meditation to help you connect with the angelic realm and higher dimensions.
