CRYSTALS: Iolite

QUESTION: Hi, I have a question for you about Iolite. I used this crystal for the first time during a class for finding your inner goddess. Each week we focus on a different chakra along with yoga and have crystals that correspond to that chakra.

Since using Iolite on the third eye, I've felt very emotional, crying, kind of like a roller coaster ride. Very anxious, i feel like i have so much emotion that is coming out, and right now feel very depressed , worried, upset...but maybe this is releasing of old emotions? I feel very overwhelmed by these emotions. One of the healers at the class mentioned that sometimes when you open the third eye, you can open it too much and things come in a flood. I'm not sure if that might be what's happening?

ANSWER: HI, thanks for your question. I have heard similar stories with Malachite at the heart. I always suggest those who are feeling a strong emotional release to counterbalance the aggressive crystals with something softer. For Malachite, I suggest Rose Quartz. For you I would suggest Angelite or Celestite since you are working with the third eye. If these emotions are something you are not ready to deal with right now, I would stop using the Iolite for a while and calm the emotions at the Solar Plexus with Moonstone.

When you are ready to deal with the emotions, it is going to come out and you will have to face them, but in the end, you will come out much stronger and your mind will be very clear. But, everyone has go on their own pace!

CRYSTALS: Clarity

QUESTION: Is quartz a good crystal for clarity or to sort out/realize your inner desires? I feel like i have the answers I need inside of me...but can't quite figure out what these answers are. When i do have clarity on something, i don't move forward and stay "stuck" doing the same thing i've been doing.

ANSWER: Yes, Quartz is definitely a good crystal for Clarity. You can also try Ulexite (one of my favorites because I actually can feel sucking energy when I place it on my third eye). You may also want to work with stones that help you learn from your past so you can let go and move forward like Obsidian and Petrified Wood.

I will have to check with my vendors on Bronzite and Hypersthene beads and sizing. Their bead sizing and shapes may vary if they do carry these, so if you can give me an idea of what you are looking for and your flexibility, I will look into it and give you an estimate!

HYPNOSIS: 100 Hours

QUESTION: Hello Lisa, I am really interested in the hypnosis class, but I was searching on internet and I found out, that to become a certified healer, we need to get 200 hours of class. You offer just 100 hours. Do you plan to do some continuing classes?

Cen we become certified practitioner just after 100 hours classes?

ANSWER: There is no requirement in California that you need to do 200 hours of training. There are a few states with different requirements, but not here. I think you must have been reading about various programs that have different requirements.

After the 100 hour training, you will receive a certificate to practice Hypnotherapy and you may join one of our many affiliated networks as well. See www.californiahypnosis.us for information.


We also offer additional workshops after the program, in Past Life Therapy, Spiritual Hypnosis, Spirit Release, and Life Between Lives. These are optional, but of course they will expand your skills and the type of sessions you can offer.

ANSWER: I understand your desire to heal your close friends' relationship. The wand that we suggest would be a Rose Quartz wand. This crystal has the best energies to open and heal any blockages in the heart chakra. The heart chakra being where our love energy resides.

However, a relationship is a partnership. If your friend's husband is not willing to change or work on the relationship, there is not much you or she can do about it.
