Conflicting Crystal Healing Information

Regarding conflicting crystal healing information: different sources will suggest different stones for the same ailment. Why is this? This is because every one of us vibrates at a different wavelength and therefore will react differently to the same healing crystals. 

I like to suggest crystals on the basis of instinct and what have worked for myself or patients in the past, but ultimately you should always experiment yourself and see which crystals you are attracted to!

How to Choose Stones

Question: Hi, i have some doubts, like u have mentioned so many stones so how do i select one from these (is it like u have send the heart speaks and so u pick the stone )..  

Answer: Hi, yes, you can choose just one of the stones mentioned or try them all if you have the availability. It is not necessary to use them all at once or right away, just whenever you get a chance or happen to come by the particular crystal, you may want to try it out and see if it fits with your own energies. Creating Chakra Plates

Creating a new batch of I Dig crystals' crystal healing chakra plates comes with intuition. Each natural stone slab is set with stones corresponding to a specific chakra or a specific energy. CRYSTALS: Protection

QUESTION: Hey sheila, thanks so much for the crystals! I have a story to tell you that actually now leads me to look for a crystal for protection.

Before i went to bed, i placed 2 of my crystals in water, and one in salt, to cleanse their energies. The crystals were left cleansing on my nightstand right next to my bed. I read online to keep them away from your bed but i didnt think to much of it. Anyways, heres my story i just woke up and wrote.

Either way, i leave this dream with great insight. About the power of energy and spirits. About the 3rd eye and astral viewing. About the importance of learning how to protect myself from other beings. Although waking up scared to death, i also had a bit of excitement in me, because i learned so much and the crystals brought this effect. All I am thinking about now is that i need to find a crystal that will aid me in protecting myself. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated and thank you so much!

Rainbow Obsidian is a great crystal to transmute any negative energies, thus protecting your aura and keeping you from being affected by unwanted energies. 

Yes, the crystals do have a great affect in opening your senses, and that is why we always recommend having protective stones around you. CRYSTALS: Iolite

QUESTION: Hi, I have a question for you about Iolite. I used this crystal for the first time during a class for finding your inner goddess. Each week we focus on a different chakra along with yoga and have crystals that correspond to that chakra.

Since using Iolite on the third eye, I've felt very emotional, crying, kind of like a roller coaster ride. Very anxious, i feel like i have so much emotion that is coming out, and right now feel very depressed , worried, upset...but maybe this is releasing of old emotions? I feel very overwhelmed by these emotions. One of the healers at the class mentioned that sometimes when you open the third eye, you can open it too much and things come in a flood. I'm not sure if that might be what's happening?

ANSWER: HI, thanks for your question. I have heard similar stories with Malachite at the heart. I always suggest those who are feeling a strong emotional release to counterbalance the aggressive crystals with something softer. For Malachite, I suggest Rose Quartz. For you I would suggest Angelite or Celestite since you are working with the third eye. If these emotions are something you are not ready to deal with right now, I would stop using the Iolite for a while and calm the emotions at the Solar Plexus with Moonstone.

When you are ready to deal with the emotions, it is going to come out and you will have to face them, but in the end, you will come out much stronger and your mind will be very clear. But, everyone has go on their own pace!

CRYSTALS: Aventurine Doubleterminator

QUESTION: Sheila, thank you very much for shipping my aventurine wand so quickly. It's beautiful! Now that I have it, since I can't or it's not advisable for me to cleanse my chakra by myself and right now, I don't have any of my friends familiar with the process and not believe in them (due to lack of knowledge), can you please tell me how else I can benefit from owning a green aventurine wand?

Being on disability, I would like to enhance or improve my finances. I've been reading your affirmations (the 30 day sessions) and so far I have citrine and aventurine wands, I'm still not confident about doing the affirmations (on each chakra) for 30 days. Help!!! I need some tips on the right way of perhaps communicating with my crystals and/or feeling their vibrations.

I think one of my difficulties is convincing myself that my crystals are genuine. Before I met you by purchasing crystals from your store, I started doubting some of the crystals I previously purchased from other stores. Is there any way I can tell or know that what I have are real?

Also, by accident, I ended up purchasing a so-called aventurine prayer bracelet. The bracelet looked and felt like plastic but didn't bother returning it due to the shipping fee (although they claimed that it's genuine) I would have ended up spending even more than what I originally paid for so I have it and tried to cleanse it in my bowl of brown rice.

Can I use both citrine and aventurine at the same time (one in each hand) when doing my affirmations? Is it recommended to do affirmations in the mornings or can I do them in the evenings as well just in case I cannot meditate in the morning? Thank you so much for your help.

ANSWER: Hi, thanks for your email. You can definitely use your new wand for the money multiplier practice and calling in abundance in general. It is also great to keep with you to use as a receiver of positive energy and transmuter of negativity because it is double terminated.

To work on your own chakras, this is an excellent wand you can lie with placed on your HEART (green is the color of the heart chakra) and allow the wand to do its healing this way.

You can definitely use both Citrine and Aventurine together. As you will see by reading my money multiplier blog, I used several different crystals according to my whims of the day. And I practiced any time that was convenient to me, so it does not matter if it's morning or night, everyone has different preferences.

Everything is intuitive, meaning, you have to trust your instincts. It sounds like you still have a lot of doubts, which most of us have, but the fact that you are asking these quesstions an willing to be open-minded, is a step in the right direction! I did not believe in energies or that beyond the physical realm until a few years ago when I started to work the crystalls. The most difficult step was to let go of doubt.

Think of it this way: everything you think is true CAN be false. Everything you think is false, CAN be true... this will really open your way of thinking. And then, as you begin to work with crystals, focus on the positive, not the things that are NOT working, but the positive things that ARE being attracted into you life.

Like everything in our world, nothing is instant, especially when you are entering into this new field of thinking, give yourself time and TRUST...

Oh, and about knowing which crystals are real and which are fake, you can only be 100% sure if you take it to a gemologist who studies these things, but when working with popular every day crystals like Aventurine, you will come to know it by and by yourself, or ask someone who has been working with them for a long time - maybe take it to a crystal shop or healer in your area. Sometimes you will find that crystals are genuine but mixed with some other medium such a resin to make it cheaper or appear smoother, so there are a lot of different varieties of the stone. Even Aventurine comes naturally in many shades and many gradees (some are much more white, some are rich green), as long as you are attracted to it, I wouldn't worry about it too much. In the big picture it is all the power of your own mind and your level of comfort with what you are doing and what you are working with.

ANSWER: Thanks for your questions. My family practices crystal healing here in California. I would suggest you check Body Mind Spirit Directory for someone in your area. You will probably have an easier time finding other kinds of energy healers like reiki masters because crystal healing is just now beginning to become popular. Rest assured that this is a growing field. I used to go to the gem bookstores and they had about 10 titles available on wholesale. I went back a few weeks ago and was astounded to see 50+ titles! I would suggest "the essential crystal handbook" to you because not only is it colorful, comprehensive and informative, but it is compact, easy to read and easy to look up stuff on the go! This is a good reference manual for crystals and their healing properties, so you can start by seeing what kinds of crystal energies you are needing. After that, there are also crystal healing books (which I don't have up at the moment, but I can sell those to you separately or you may find them at your local bookstore) which tell you how to use these crystals in your daily life, home, work, etc...

The most popular gem/crystal reference books are written by Melody. Everyone in the field knows about her books. They are super-thick, so you may find them a little overwhelming like I did because each crystal has so many properties that it seems contradictory (but in reality each crystal can be programmed for whatever you want), and there are no nice picture to indicate which crystal is what! I guess that's why she also wrote an accompanying book that has only pictures of minerals! Both are the "Love is in the Earth" series!

If your issue needs 2 or more crystals, that's no problem at all. The important point is to clean, charge and program your crystals them for what you want. As I said, every crystal has various crystal healing properties. The important part is to program them to focus on your issues at hand. Crystals can be used together and sometimes it's even more effective using more crystals than one.

As to where you use them; this is also as varied as the number of crystals out there! The main point is to listen to your intuition (your trust in your instincts). This is really hard for a lot of people, including myself at first, because we are so conditioned to think in the educational system where there is at least one right answer and not to trust what we feel. Each one of us will feel something different, and that's what makes energy work so intuitive. So as far as what to do with each crystal, I can make my own suggestions as to how I use them and how I use them on my clients if you give me a specific crystal to answer. From there, you can try out my suggestions yourself and modify to your own liking!
