FEATURE: Artist Scarves

Artist Jeanne Tracey makes beautiful hand-painted silk scarves through the aid of intuition, dreams and positive energy. She gets to know the wearer and will customize according to your preferences. I rarely wear them, but when these two personalized scarves arrived, I was impressed by their cool, colorful, creativity and I love to wear them for fashion and fun.

ETSY: Purity of Sea

My first ever crystal healing piece was featured in a Treasury on Etsy today thanks to samanthasartstudio, leader of the Honeybee Helpers Team.

FEATURE: Butterfly Gourd

Gourd Art was a whole new world to me when introduced by an expert gourd artist, Pam Johnson! I recently received this marvelous butterfly necklace from her etsy shop. All of her pieces are intricately cut, sanded, and artfully hand-painted.

Gourds come from the same family as pumpkins, and when dried they have a similar appearance as wood. Gourd artists then go to work, carving, shaping, polishing, painting, pyrography, etc!

We come to better appreciate the detail and time put into such pieces when we make our own feeble attempts at creation. They make it look so easy!
