How a Crystal brings Abundance.

Question: How exactly does a crystal work for abundance?

Answer: This depends on how you program it. Basically all crystals are vibrating at a certain positive energy because of the uniform way they are formed. By placing your own intent into this vibration, you attract that certain vibration from the universe to you. If you are familiar with the law of attraction, this is what we are using, but enhancing the experience with the power of the stones. This process can also be done with the sheer power of your own mind, but as humans, it is easier to use other tools to bypass the clutter of our conscious thoughts.

Depending on the type of abundance you are seeking, you may place the stones in the appropriate areas of the home, do meditations, visualization, chakra layouts or wear them.

My crystal's color ran away!

Apache Tear Obsidian Tumbled Stones

QUESTION: Dear Lisa and Sheila, I'd like to comment this with you: I've been wearing a small apache tear stone taped to my belly button since early morning (6 am, now its 4:05 pm), and I felt like I had to take it of. For sheer curiosity I looked at it to check if it had gone more translucid. To my amazement, I saw a purplish blue hue in the stone, instead of the original smoky-honey brown hue. Have you heard of this before?

ANSWER: Hi, thank you for your email. Yes, we have often heard of crystals sacrificing their energy/color to those in need. We often hear of the Rainbow Obsidian rings getting brighter the more unwanted energies that they absorb. We have also heard of Bloodstone losing its red inclusions to those who have circulatory problems. Yours is not a new phenomena, but definitely, an interesting case which you will want to explore further! If you feel okay with the Apache stones, I would continue to use them. If you don't feel right, then I would give it a break or counteract it with some other energies as your aura may not be ready for the energies that the Apache stones are bringing up..

Question: Does it matter if you wear the crystals or just have loose crystals in your home?

Answer: Hi, thanks for your question. It depends on what you want to accomplish. It is always best to have crystals with you throughout the day if it is for personal healing. If you want a certain energy for the home, I would place them around your house. If you are very self-motivated, you can keep a set at home to do layouts or meditations with, otherwise it's easier to wear with you through jewelry form or carry with you like tumbled stones in your pockets.

The right crystal for me?

Question: I am interested in the properties of crystals. I head that they are healing and help keep you in balance. I guess I am not sure what type of crystals would work well for me?

Answer: The best way is to experiment with many different types of stones. In the beginning, you may want to start to work with the Quartz Family (quartz, rose quartz, amethyst, citrine, aventurine, etc..). These are the best in general healing and as starter crystals. However, you may also want to start with those that really attract you.
