ANSWER: Hi, thank you for your email. Yes, we do have some suggestions for you regarding crystals for autistic and down syndrome children. In general, these children have difficulties in social interaction and mental comprehension. Therefore, these are the two chakra areas you will want to focus on - the Throat and Third Eye chakra. Using blue stones at the Throat like Aquamarine, Turquoise, Hemimorphite and Chrysocolla will help to balance communications and ease interactions with the surrounding environments. Using indigo and third eye stones at the forehead will assist in mental balance, receiving grounded ideas and connecting to all 6 senses. Here you may use Lapis, Amethyst, Third Eye Agates and Kyanite. Grounding stones like Mochi Balls, Rainbow Obsidian and brown Jaspers will also help these children as they are often aligned much more to the spiritual world than the physical.
