How to use Jade Bowls

QUESTION:

Hello -- I just received jadebowl01 (set of 2 jade bowls) and I’m not sure what to do with them.   I received them from my husband for my 65th birthday.  I tried to find them on your website to understand more about them.  Any information you can provide would be helpful.

Hello, first of all, Happy Birthday! Natural stone bowls can be used in many ways. If you do energy healing work, you can use them to energetically charge water to drink or food. You can also use them as "dream bowls" where you put in little pieces of paper listing what you want to manifest in life and place the bowls near your bedside when you sleep. You can also place small tumbled stones in the bowls and run your hands through for stress relief or for divination practices.

Some of the Properties of Jade: Jade is a dream crystal, aiding emotional release through dreams. Jade healing crystals can help you realize your full potential and attain purposeful goals. Jade also helps lift suppressed emotional issues and bring them to light for resolution. Jade is popular as a good luck and prosperity stone. Jade healing crystals open and balance the Heart Chakra.

Jade is found in many colors and in two forms: the rarer Jadeite and the more common Nephrite. Nephrite Jade ranges from medium to dark green with black inclusions. Nephrite Jade has been used for centuries for its classic beauty, and is mostly found in British Columbia, Canada.

If you don't do energy healing, then you can use them for display or place a white assortment of trinkets or even food items in the bowls. You can also place them in the appropriate corner of the house according to Feng Shui practices if you are familiar with Feng Shui.

Properly Using Tuning Forks

QUESTION: Hi Sheila, My point set and tuning forks arrived last week... much to my excitement.

I am anxious to use them. I do have question re. the tuning forks. Do you just hold them close to the chakra plates?  Once they touch the plates, they stop vibrating. Thanks for your help.

ANSWER: I am glad to hear that everything arrived safely. 

To use the tuning forks properly, you will want to hold ONLY the stem. Do not touch the forks or the vibration will stop. The harder you strike the fork, the longer the vibration. I would suggest hitting it against a rubber surface like a hockey puck or rubber striking stick. Once on the chakra plates, they should vibrate for a while!

CRYSTALS: Pendulums

QUESTION: Sheila~How do you go about picking your pendulums?? Does it matter the stone?? The chain (material, size, etc)? And what about other stones on the chain?? What is your opinion and suggestion. Struggling a bit with all of that....Thanks, Rainbow Waves of Love

ANSWER: The two most popular uses for pendulums is dowsing (asking yes and no answers) and crystal healing. For dowsing, you can use any type of crystal, even any type of material. You definitely will be attracted to a certain crystal pendulum or you will do some experimentation and find the pendulum you best like to work with for this purpose.

For crystal healing, we most commonly use Quartz pendulums because Quartz gives such an accurate measurement of energies (this is what powers our wrist watches!). Pick out any clear Quartz pendulum, preferably faceted and pointed if you are doing chakra readings.

Chain length is again up to your own preference. For chakra checking, you typically use a length of 6-8" long of a chain. Of course there are also different methods of pendulum use and healing. I have seen some people swing the pendulum over each chakra with great force, so they prefer a longer chain. If you find your chain is too long, you can always wrap the chain around your finger to the desired length or switch out the chain entirely.

MONEY MULTIPLIER: Day 31

Surprise! Today I woke up with the money multiplier in mind. Since I stopped the routine in July, I haven't felt as abundance. I guess years of negative thinking towards finances has blocked up my system towards money, and it's going to take me a lot longer than just a month of crystal healing.

That said, I woke up today with black Obsidian massage wand in hand and circled the crystal into my chakras with the affirmation "every day in every way, i am rich and richer," paying special attention to ridding that area of my life of negative thoughts towards money. For example, at my throat I wanted to rid the negative connection between money and what I say about it, at my third eye, it was the connection between money and what I think about it, etc...

After 14 affirmations at each chakra, I imagined that the black clouds of energy that had been absorbed from the crystal, were floating away from my physical being. Puffing outwards with white light, it took a while for the black energy to dissipate, but with the help of a my large Quartz master healing Cluster, I was quickly able to immerse myself in the abundant white light of the universe once again...

MONEY MULTIPLIER: Day 17

Sitting on my balcony at twilight. The air is comfortably warm. The evening atmosphere is settling into night. I go over my chakras with my abudance programmed Moss Agate sphere, "every day in every way I am rich and richer". I am connected to the plants, the air and the earth.

Money Multiplier Month

So, I have posted and advised others on this crystal healing method of calling abundance of money into one's life, but I have yet to practice it myself.

Tomorrow being a new month, I welcome you to join me in a 30 day "money multiplier" practice!



I will be using a long Aventurine Aura Wand for abundance, Bloodstone Egg for wealth, and Moss Agate Ball for abundance of natural resources. Perhaps some other crystals that catch my whim as well!


You can use the prescribed Aventurine or Citrine Pyramids or any other crystals that you feel comfortable with in calling money into your life.
