CRYSTALS: Coloring

QUESTION: Hello, You write in the article description that this stone is peach. In the photo it looks pretty much creamy white with a silver sheen / shimmer, but then photos on a computer often can't show colours that exactly. So I wanted to ask what you mean by peach - that colour can go into an orange or a pink direction (if both were toned down to pastels). Which is it, if any, in this case? I hope you understand what I mean. English is a foreign language to me and describing colours isn't the easiest thing anyway.

I also wanted to ask: Is this the sphere you are selling as MOONSTONE BALL 3" Crystal Healing Reiki Energy Sphere 06 in your own store? If so, is there any difference regarding the shipping fee if one buys directly or through ebay? Thank you in advance for your help.

ANSWER: You are correct; sometimes the camera can not capture the true brilliance of the crystals. This type of creamy white Moonstone is what we call peach as opposed to a little redder one that we would call Pink or a totally white one with blue sheen which would be a Rainbow Moonstone. The colors on the listing are pretty accurate. In reality the stone is a bit more peach in color. So, I would say that creamy white is a good description, running more towards the tan/beige coloring than any bright orange or pink. I hope that helps a little! The brilliant sheen can be seen on two opposite sides of the sphere.

CRYSTALS: Upsetting

QUESTION: Hi Sheila, Lisa, and Ann, I have a crystal question i hope you can help me with. Someone told me that if you have a strong reaction to a crystal, like if you use a crystal and it brings up uncomfortable emotion, it means that you are in need of healing that specific crystal can offer. When i heard this, it made me think of an experience I had last year with rhodochrosite i didn't understand.

When i would use this crystal, afterward I felt very irritable and angry. I started speaking up and starting fights in my relationship. I was confused because as a crystal that helped with love and the heart, why was i getting so upset each time i used it? But i can see now, all the emotion that was brought up helped me to speak up about things that were bothering me. I have been afraid to use it ever since, because i didn't want to feel those emotions again...but now i wonder if maybe it was actually helping me to heal my heart by helping me face things in my life that were bothering me deep down. Months later, we ended that relationship and i see this was this ending was the best thing for me. I wondered, was it all in my head that every time i used the rhodochrosite i felt upset, was it just not a good crystal for me, but now i wonder if it was bringing me healing by bringing up the emotions.

ANSWER: Hi, thanks for writing! You are correct, some crystals can bring out stuff that you didn't want to deal with at a certain time. For example, Malachite is a power stone that will bring up past emotional trauma. It is so strong some people need to counter it with the calming energies of Rose Quartz. Both are heart chakra stones, but with different wavelengths. These blockages will be released when you are ready for it and crystals will definitely aid in this cleansing. Sometimes you are not ready to face the past and you may leave a crystal for a while, like you did with your Rhodochrosite (pictured). When you are ready (perhaps now that you are looking back and making some realizations!), you will be drawn to it again. Everybody goes at their own pace!

CRYSTALS: Lumps

QUESTION: Hi ladies, I have another healing question. The advice you gave me for my Asthma has been a great help. I have a lump in the armpit. I have had the breast removed and an implant inserted twice due to problems. Can you advise as to which crystal/s I can use to reduce the lump. I have been doing Reiki on the area. I would be grateful you could advise me. I dont want anymore surgery. Kind Regards.

Lumps that show up in our physical body are often caused by an energy blockage. Your body wants to detoxify itself and somehow things get blocked up as a result of poor circulation. A good crystal to help the body detoxify naturally is SERPENTINE. If there is inflammation, a good crystal to reduce any swelling is APACHE TEAR OBSIDIAN.

ANSWER:Hello - Thank you for emailing us about the class. We would love to have you join us! The class tuition includes notes and basic materials such as jars for elixirs etc. Actual crystals can be purchased separately, but will be available for you to use during class.

We would be happy to work out a payment plan with you. You can pay half the tuition now (over the phone with a card or come into the store) and we can hold a credit card number for you and charge the second half on the agreed date.

ADVICE: Sage Space

QUESTION: Sheila, I love sage. Do you think it would work for me? I don't think I have bad spirits around me, just bad energy. I guess all in the same time what's the difference. so maybe I should get some of this stuff when i come up to your store.

ANSWER: Yes, sage will definitely help to change the energies of your space. I used to not like the smell of sage, but I got accustomed to it working at the store and I do feel a difference energetically. Every time someone who has some unwanted energies walks into our store, we quickly pull out the sage after they leave to purify the energies to a peaceful one again! Many customers comment on the calm energies of our store, so it's really effective in keeping the peace!
