Open your heart chakra with the healing power of rubies

Ruby Beaded Necklace

Prized as a precious gemstone by many, the ruby also helps heal and open the heart.
Rubies and the red rays they carry are believed to restore emotional fluidity by relaxing undesirable patterns and relieving emotional congestion.

The ruby is also associated with the sun, and has long been believed to preserve mental and physical health. In the middle ages, rubies were viewed as a stone of prophecy. Some believed that the ruby would darken when danger was near.

A thirteenth century prescription to calm liver problems called for powdered ruby. In the 15th-16th Centuries, rubies were thought to counteract poison. When rubbed on the skin, they were also thought to restore youth and vitality.

Ruby Turtle Necklace
For thousands of years, Ruby was considered the stone of love, energy, passion, power, and a zest for life. Like no other gemstone in the world, the ruby is the symbol for powerful feelings. Another important element of the ruby in addition to fire is blood, with the ruby said to restore vital life forces and increase energy and vigor. The ruby is also known as the stone of courage, and legend holds that a person possessing a ruby can walk through life without fear of evil or misfortune. Ruby bracelets, anklets, necklaces and pendants are all beautiful representations of the ruby's beauty, strength and healing properties.

Rubies are thought to energize and balance and stimulate the heart chakra. They can also overcome exhaustion and ease hyperactivity. Rubies detoxify the body and blood, and treat fevers, diseases, and poor circulation. They are good for the heart and circulatory system and stimulate the adrenals, kidneys, reproductive organs and spleen.

With so many benefits for your heart chakra, physical and emotional well-being, rubies are a popular and beautiful healing choice.

Crystal Healing for the Knees

Apatite Bracelet

QUESTION: Hey Sheila!!  Just stumbled on your blog… was looking for any info on best stones for the knees. Thanks.

ANSWER: For crystals for the knees, I would highly recommend Apatite, Malachite and Mochi Balls. Apatite is a blue-green stone that can be found raw, tumbled or bead form, it is a little more rare than your common stones. Malachite is a popular stone for strengthening joints. It is banded green and comes in many forms. It is a soft stone, so the beads are pricey because they easily break when manipulated. Mochi Balls are rough sandstone type clusters which are found in natural form. You will not easily find beads in this stone. This is a great stone for bones and joints as well.

If you need any other information, feel free to email me!

Can we share crystals?

Jasper Merkaba Pendant

Question: Hello!I Recently Contacted You About Tiger Eye Chakra Wands :-)
I Actually Had Another Question. I Just Ordered Two Merkabas From Your Satin Crystals Website (Jade And Moonstone) Is It Okay To Share The Merkabas Between My Fiancé And I Or Should We Each Have Our Own???

Thank You For Your Time...Love & Light.

Answer: Hi, thanks for your email. If you are both doing energy healing work with the merkabas, it is best to have your own. However, if you are just using them for decoration or aesthetics, you can share them. If you want to do merkaba meditations, crystal healing or reiki with the stones, we highly suggest you keep your stones to yourself! If you do want to share, please remember to clean, charge and program/de-program them when handing them over to the next person!

As for your tigers eye wands, our vendor said they are in the process of creating more wands, so I will keep you informed as soon as I hear from them!

Sincerely,
Sheila Satin
